There are mixed reactions from users on their experience with the RCA 70-Can Beverage Cooler.

For starters, a good number didn’t get the memo that the temperature range of the unit is between 50 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. And that there was no way this cooler could ever make their drinks frosty or ice cold. So, some people were not prepared to discover that this unit was a cooler and nothing more.
Some users also had issues with the noise level of this unit and wished it wasn’t as loud as it was. Yet, some people think that the noise level can be managed since it is just like that of a regular refrigerator.
More so, the fact that this beverage cooler didn’t come with interior LED lights was another drawback that some users spotted immediately. Nonetheless, those who loved this cooler in spite of this shortcoming decided to get LED lights separately and have them fitted on the inside of the door.
All that said, many users liked the generous capacity of this cooler and the fact that it didn’t compromise the portability and space-efficiency of the unit.

Our Verdict
Now, here’s what we think about the RCA 70-Can Beverage Cooler:
First, this cooler delivers well on storage capacity and is true to its claims especially if you stick with the 12-ounce cans all through.
It also has a simple but nice design that is sure to add a little subtle spice to the users’ space without being out of place.
We also love that the user can customize his or her storage arrangement to accommodate either cans or bottles of beers.
However, this appliance is merely a cooler and won’t be the right choice for you if you are in the market for a fridge that will make your drinks ice cold or frosty. It cools the drinks. Nothing more.
Also, it may help to know that the best way to ensure that your drinks are cool and not lukewarm is to turn the adjustable thermostat all the way to the end in the clockwise direction. Doing this till the knob can no longer move any further keeps the cooler at the lowest possible temperature to ensure that the drinks are cooled.
That said, we would have loved this cooler more if it came with interior LED lights to light up the unit and make a beautiful display of the user’s collection. But this can be fixed by purchasing separate LED lights for that purpose.
So, in our opinion, if you are in the market for a cooler to keep your beers, sodas, juices, and water cool and you don’t mind that it can be as noisy as a regular refrigerator and that it doesn’t come with interior LED lights then you may want to go for it now.
