Step 2: Open the doors of the refrigerator.

Step 3: If you have any food in the refrigerator, take it out.

Step 20: Pull apart the sensor wires in the fridge.

Step 21: Strip an eighth of the insulation on the two existing wires in the refrigerator.

Step 22: Take the new temperature sensor to the refrigerator and insert the two existing wires into the butt connectors.

Step 23: Crimp the connectors to secure them to the wires in the refrigerator.

Step 24: Get a heat shrink tube and slide it onto the temperature sensor.

Step 25: Using a heat gun, shrink the tube over the temperature sensor’s wires.

Step 26: Insert the temperature sensor back into the cover and push it in to secure.

Step 27: Reposition the cover on the refrigerator’s side wall and push it into place.

Step 28: Return the top shelf into the refrigerator and slide it into place.

Step 29: Also return the shelves on the door as well.

Step 30: Shut the doors of the refrigerator.

Step 31: Reconnect the power to the refrigerator by plugging the power cord to the outlet or switching the circuit breaker back on.
