To remove the error codes, simply unplug the refrigerator and plug it back in after 1 minute.

There is a disconnection between the main refrigerator and the door of the refrigerator when you see this error message.
Ensure that the door is closed tightly and that nothing is keeping the door from closing well. Also, clean the door gasket or seal with warm water and mild soap to remove dirt. This will help the door close better.
You can also fix this error by unplugging the refrigerator and reconnecting the wire harness above the door. That is if it is disconnected. Then, plug the unit back in. But if the error message returns, contact Samsung for help.
4. O FF or OF OF
When you see this error code, you know that the Cooling Off mode is on. The mode is usually activated when the door of the refrigerator is left open. This makes the temperature in the refrigerator to rise, causing the cooling ability to drop.
To turn this mode off, you will need to consult the manual for your specific model. However, there is a general method that involves using the control panel of the refrigerator.
Press the two button on the top left-hand side of the panel. Hold them for about 5 to 8 seconds until you hear a chime. Wait a few seconds to be sure the display doesn’t go back to the mode again. If it does, repeat the process until you get it right.
5. 24E, 40E
The defrost system of the freezer is malfunctioning if you see this error code. This means that there is a frost buildup on the coils.
Remove the inner back panel of the freezer to access the coils. With a hairdryer, carefully, melt the frost off the coils. Put the back panel back. Then, press the upper left and right buttons at the same time to reset the codes.
6. 26E
Check the ice maker or the water inlet valve for faults if you see this error code. More likely than not, the inlet valve is the faulty part. So, replace it and turn the ice maker on. Be sure no ice is blocking the ice fill tube and that the internal temperature is set lower than 8 degrees Fahrenheit.

7. 23E
This error code indicates that the condenser fan has a fault. Check to see if the motor is working fine and that it is receiving power. Also, be sure that nothing is keeping the blades from spinning freely.
If there is an adequate power supply to the fan and nothing is obstructing the blades, then replace the fan.
8. 25E
The code signifies that the defrost system of the refrigerator is faulty. You need to check the components – defrost timer, defrost thermostat and defrost heater – are in proper working order. Additionally, check the defrost control board. Replace any component that is faulty.
9. 21E
This error code means that there is an error with the freezer fan. The unit is not detecting its rotation when it is supposed to be rotating. It could be that the fan is frozen stiff or that the fan motor is defective.
Test the fan motor between its windings for continuity. This will tell you if the fan motor is the problem. If not, then check the door seal to be sure it still seals tightly. And ensure you don’t leave the door open for long and that you close it tightly whenever you use the unit.
Defrost the fan manually if it is frozen. Otherwise, use a hairdryer to thaw the ice. Then, give the unit time to cool again before putting food back into it.

A faulty sensor can stop the defrost cycle and lead to an ice buildup, which affects the refrigerator’s cooling capacity.
17. 5E
