On the good side, a good number of customers love that the wine cooler’s capacity is accurate for the most part. The manufacturer already stated that the unit can store up to 36 standard-sized wine bottles. And they found that to be true.
They also found its capacity to be consistent with the multiple storage style. For instance, if a user’s collection is comprised of 30 standard-sized bottles and let’s say 6 Pinot Noir, the 30 bottles can go on the 5 wire racks while the 6 Pinot bottles can lie sideways at the bottom of the unit.
Some people also loved the reversible door. They particularly loved that the recessed handle which adds to the unit’s compactness is located on both sides of the door. So, opening from both sides is convenient and easy.
A few users also noted the sturdiness. There was a consensus on the unit being well-built to stand the test of time. One user particularly noted the fact that the steel frame around the glass door is solid enough to avoid dents.

We love that the Danby 36-Bottle Wine Cooler is efficient, sturdy, spacious, and has a nice design.
In terms of construction, we think the Danby family did justice to the wine cooler. And that means users can groove with this wine cooler for a long time without as much as a dent on the metal surfaces. The tempered glass which is also securely placed inside the solid metal frame is tempered to avoid damage by impact.
Not all wine coolers are true to the capacity that they advertise. However, in the case of the Danby 36-Bottle Wine Cooler, we are glad to know that the unit can hold 36 standard-sized wine bottles. The shelves are also removable so that larger wine bottles can fit in. So, nothing stops a wine collector from having a wide variety of wines in this cooler.
Speaking of variety, we love the extra feature that seems to have been included in this wine cooler for free. And that’s the temperature difference. Since there’s a temperature difference between the top and bottom of the unit, reds can be stored in the warmer section while whites can be stored in the colder region. That’s a dual-zone wine cooler at no extra charge!
