Our Verdict
One of the features of the SMAD 35-Bottle Wine Cooler that we really like is the noiseless cooling. It is often relieving to know that there are compressor units that run quietly. In fact, with this wine cooler, you may not even know that it is running to you get close and even open the unit to see that it is working.
While this unit may not be as portable as other wine coolers with smaller capacity, we like that it is a compact one. And it was obvious in little details like the recessed handle of the unit.
The steel-framed glass door of this unit also provides a good view of one’s wine collection as the bottles are laid out on the chrome shelves.
We also love that the interior of the wine cooler is designed in such a way that you can adjust the storage settings to accommodate wine bottles of different sizes. So, while the unit is originally designed to hold 35 standard-sized wine bottles, the user is at liberty to remove one or more of the shelves to accommodate larger bottles.
All that said, we share the same sentiments with most users with respect to the temperature variation in the unit. But we may be able to overlook it since a few hacks can be done to ensure that the wines are cooling at the right temperatures. It’s just that it can be really annoying.
